UPDATE: As of 6/24/2023 10:30 PM ET All client websites and domains have been migrated successfully. This notice will remain available for a short time as a reminder that the old mail server name needs to be changed (see below) to continue sending/receiving email successfully.
During late June through mid-July 2023, we are migrating all accounts to newer, faster servers! There should be very little downtime due to our migration plan, with only 2-10 minutes expected.
Our nameservers will be changing, so there may be a few hiccups in DNS resolution for a few outlier locations around the world. During testing (approximately twenty customers) the average downtime was less than 2 minutes, and the average DNS propagation time was less than an hour, because we are moving sites during off-peak internet hours when DNS changes propagate faster.
Your FPOHosting MyAccount (https://fpohosting.com/myaccount) login and password remain the same. You may access your website's cPanel through MyAccount.
Email addresses and passwords stay the same, however, if you have hardcoded one of our old mail servers (starfire.websitewelcome.com) into your mail client, you will need to change your mail server settings. We have a KB article here with those settings. In short, make sure you are using mail.yourdomain.com and IMAP port 993 or POP3 port 995 with Secure Authentication (SSL/TLS) turned on.
